Valentine Cards from Give A Hoot Cricut Cartridge

I used my new Gypsy to design a layout for two cards, one called Bear Hugs and the second is Foxy Lady.  Loved using the weld and hide and contour features.  After choosing the basic card elements and laying them out I used layers so I could cut up to four card elements at a time and then assembled them with slight variations to suit my need to "change" it up!  Lots of fun, I am hooked!

Love Themed Cards

Using one 12 x 12 paper from a clearance sale at Michael's, the Cricut cartridge Tie the Knot, and some pearls and glitter from Michaels, I created four cards with a love theme.

Brithday Boy!

 Here are some cards for a birthday boy!  Cowboys, Pirate Ships, and Rockets.  My 8 year old daughter created the rocket ship card, she chose green to highlight it since that is the color of aliens!  She is an awesome card designer!

Warm Wishes Snowflake Card

Card inspired by my four-year old son who wanted to "stamp mommy!"  I let him stamp a blue snowflake on a white card and when he kept stamping without re-inking I realized that the design made a great card background.  I added the light blue card stock, used Martha Stewart snowflake border and added some silver ribbon.  Both stamps were purchased at Michaels.

Gypsy....yeah

Well I broke down and bought the Cricut Gypsy since I want the freedom to make my own designs from existing cartridges.  I googled it and found a great deal at Meijers for $116 (list is $299).  Deal is only good til Dec 28th, free shipping on orders over $100 so this really worked!  Plus Provo Crafts is offering free download of five cartridges, yippee!  Love making new cards!
